Yes Chiranjeevi is Next to NTR

Yes Chiranjeevi is next to NTR in most of the aspects. Be it his speech or his fan following. But is Chiranjeevi competing against NTR?

I have seen many news articles and TV programs that criticized Chiranjeevi’s first public speech saying that it was not even comparable to NTR’s speech and the lakhs of people who attended the meeting were not as expected.

Does Chiranjeevi has to be an NTR to compete with YSR and CBN? Absolutly not. Chiranjeevi definitely has more following than these two leaders. I am sure there are a lot of people who never even tried to listen to a speech from CBN or YSR. Look at the media coverage and hype that Chiranjeevi got from the last few days. You wouldn’t even read this article if that’s not true.

Analysis of the Speech:
Chiranjeevi looked like he did not practice the speech before and was trying to address the crowd directly. He looked like he has the required emotion but was not able to show that emotion in his words. This is his first speech and he still has a chance to improve.

What’s in the meeting:
Chiranjeevi did not go deep into any of the topics. He just addressed the issues that he and his party will try to solve. In a short and a first meeting like this you do not expect him to give a speech that includes all information on how he solves these issues as that might be a day long meeting. For a common man this speech is good enough. (Though not good enough for other politicians and critics who know a lot more compared to a common man). Chiranjeevi’s meeting was meant for common man and not for politicians.

Why should PRP (Praja Rajyam Party) come to power?

  • It gives good competition to all 3 parties. It is like if you have more companies making the same product, the quality goes up and costs go down to get better sales and that’s good for the consumer. They compete to do better things to the people and the state.
  • The more the number of parties the stronger will be the opposition.
  • As this will be the first time PRP comes to power it “tries” be ideal (if being ideal is not practical) and tries to stabilize as a good party.
  • This new party will try to get new reforms (different to the existing ones) that can change the state entirely
  • Hopefully there will be less corruption

Also some say that Chiranjeevi is an actor and does not have experience in politics and politics is not a cinema. So the question is, who should be a politician? Any other ‘politician’ who claim to be a ‘experienced’ politician when started has no experience either. Also Chiranjeevi is not the only one who controls the party he can get the so called ‘experienced’ politicians as his advisers.

Lets welcome ‘Praja Rajyam’ party and wish Chiranjeevi good luck for his new life as our leader.
